OFFICIAL RULES
To enter the DoorDash Reservations Date Night with Caleb Contest ("Contest"), you must agree to and abide by these official rules ("Official Rules").
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. THE WINNER WILL BE SELECTED BY TALENT IN HIS SOLE DISCRETION, NOT BY RANDOM DRAWING. You must have Internet access and an active Instagram or TikTok account to participate.
This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Meta Platforms, Inc., TikTok, or TikTok Inc. (collectively, the "Platforms").
1. SPONSOR: DoorDash, Inc. ("Sponsor"), 303 2nd St, Suite 800, San Francisco, CA 94107.
2. ADMINISTRATOR: Probability LLC ("Administrator"), 2 Woodstock Meadows Ln, Woodstock, NY 12498.
3. TALENT: The Contest is conducted in cooperation with Caleb McDaniel ("Talent").
4. ELIGIBILITY: The Contest is open only to legal residents of the forty-eight (48) contiguous US states or District of Columbia who are at least twenty-one (21) years of age at the time of entry and who are single e.g. not currently married or in a committed relationship. Any individuals (including but not limited to employees, consultants, independent contractors [including Dashers as well as brand ambassadors/influencers], and interns) who have, within the past six (6) months, performed services for Sponsor, Administrator, Talent, Get Engaged, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, and their advertising, promotion, public relations and media agencies (collectively, "Contest Entities"), and the immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of any Contest Entity, are not eligible to enter the Contest or win the Prize. "Immediate family members" shall mean spouse, mother, father, in-laws, grandmother, grandfather, brother, sister, children and grandchildren, and step relationships of the foregoing, regardless of where they live. "Household members" shall mean people who share the same residence at least three (3) months a year, whether related or not. Any person who personally knows Talent, or has a prior personal, romantic or professional relationship with Talent, is not eligible. Void in Alaska, Hawaii, and where prohibited, or otherwise restricted by law.
5. CONTEST PERIOD: The Contest begins at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 and ends at 2:59 a.m. ET on Friday, October 9, 2026 ("Contest Period"). For purposes of these Official Rules, all times and days are Eastern Time. Sponsor's computer is the official time-keeping device for the Contest.
6. HOW TO ENTER: During the Contest Period, Talent will publish one (1) post announcing the Contest on Talent's Instagram account (@calebmcdaniell) and one (1) post on Talent's TikTok account (@calebmcdaniell) (each, a "Contest Post"). During the Contest Period, an entrant (“Entrant”) may enter as follows:
Follow Caleb McDaniel on Instagram (@calebbmcdaniell) or TikTok (@.caleb.mcdaniel) Comment on a Contest Post explaining, in your own words, why you would be a great dinner date for Caleb McDaniel at a restaurant located in the Manhattan area in New York City selected by the Sponsor (“Restaurant”) (collectively "Comment"); and
Include #DoorDashContest (the "Contest Hashtag") in your Comment.
Your Comment along with the Contest Hashtags will constitute your entry ("Entry"). The term "Entry" includes any text, emoji or other content that accompanies the Contest Hashtags and Comment. Do NOT include personal information (e.g., your name, e-mail address, phone number or address) in the Comment. Your Entry must be limited to the comment section of a Contest Post; sharing, reposting, stitching, dueting or tagging others in the Contest Post will not result in an Entry or improve your chances of winning.
BY POSTING A COMMENT WITH THE CONTEST HASHTAG #DOORDASHCONTEST, YOU ARE INDICATING THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD AND FULLY AGREE TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES.
Partial or incomplete submissions (e.g., a Comment without the Contest Hashtag) will NOT be accepted as an Entry. Your Instagram or TikTok account must be set to public during the Contest Period and through winner confirmation, and must permit direct messages from Talent and Sponsor. If you do not have an Instagram or TikTok account, you may create one for free at instagram.com or tiktok.com, or by downloading the applicable app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, subject to that Platform's terms of service. Entrants must comply with the applicable Platform's terms of service.
LIMIT ONE (1) ENTRY PER PERSON PER PLATFORM,. Only the first eligible Comment from each person per Platform will be considered. Multiple entries in excess of this limitation, entries submitted through multiple accounts, or mass entry attempts may result in disqualification of all entries by such person. Entries must be manually key-stroked; use of automated entry devices, bots or programs is prohibited. Once submitted, an Entry may not be edited; edited Entries may be disqualified. Data rates may apply when accessing the Platforms via a mobile device.
7. ENTRY CONTENT REQUIREMENTS: By submitting an Entry, each Entrant represents and warrants that the Entry is the Entrant's original work and that the Entrant has obtained all rights necessary for Sponsor to use it as described in these Official Rules. An Entry may not contain, and Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may disqualify and/or request the applicable Platform remove, any Entry that:
Violates any law or regulation
Violates or infringes any right of any third party, including intellectual property, publicity or privacy rights
Is defamatory, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit or suggestive, obscene or pornographic
Contains any third person's personal information
Contains any virus, bug or other deleterious material
Is derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group
Promotes alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons or dangerous activities
Promotes any political agenda or message
Disparages Sponsor, Talent, Restaurant or any other Contest Entity
References any competitor of Sponsor
Was generated in whole or in material part using artificial intelligence tools
Is otherwise inappropriate, objectionable, or inconsistent with the reputation, image and/or goodwill of Sponsor or Talent, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
By submitting an Entry, each Entrant grants Sponsor, Talent and their designees a perpetual, non-exclusive, irrevocable, fully-paid, royalty-free, sub-licensable and transferable worldwide license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, create derivative works of, and otherwise exploit the Entry, in whole or in part, in all media now known or hereafter devised, for any purpose, including advertising, promotional, publicity and trade purposes, with or without attribution and without further notice or compensation. The potential winner may be required to sign a Grant of Rights and Release conveying these rights.
CONTEST ENTRIES REPRESENT SOLELY THE VIEWS/OPINIONS OF THE ENTRANT AND DO NOT REFLECT THE VIEWS/OPINIONS OF SPONSOR OR TALENT IN ANY MANNER. SPONSOR IS ACTING AS A PASSIVE CONDUIT FOR THE POSTING OF ENTRIES AND EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL LIABILITY IN CONNECTION WITH SCREENING, MONITORING OR REVIEWING ENTRY CONTENT.
8. WINNER SELECTION: On or about, October 9, 2026, Talent will select one (1) potential winner (“Potential Winner”) from among all eligible Entries, in his sole subjective discretion, based on his review of each entrant's Comment and the entrant's public Instagram or TikTok profile, including publicly available posts, photos and videos ("Profile"). By entering, entrants acknowledge that their Profile will be reviewed as part of winner selection. There are no weighted judging criteria, and Talent is not required to explain his selection. Talent may also select up to four (4) runner-up winners, in ranked order, to be contacted if the potential winner is disqualified for any reason whatsoever or forfeits the Prize, time permitting (“Runner-up(s)”). Potential winner entry and Runner-up entries will be reviewed by Administrator to make sure all requirements in these Official Rules have been met.
9. WINNER NOTIFICATION: The Potential Winner will be notified via direct message on the Platform used to enter, from Talent's verified account (@calebmcdaniell), on or about October 9, 2026. IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF ENTRANT TO CONFIRM THAT THEIR PRIVACY SETTINGS ALLOW SPONSOR AND TALENT TO NOTIFY THEM VIA DIRECT MESSAGE. The message will request that the potential winner and potential alternates e-mail Administrator at a specified e-mail address. Failure to respond within twenty-four (24) hours of notification will result in disqualification.
10. VERIFICATION: The Potential Winner must complete, sign and return within twenty-four (24) hours of transmission an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release and Indemnification, Publicity Release, Confidentiality Agreements, Background Check Authorization, Grant of Rights, and IRS Form W-9, where allowed by law, as well as any additional documents reasonably necessary to verify eligibility or fulfill the Grand Prize that are consistent with these Official Rules (collectively, the "Prize Claim Documents"). The Potential Winner must also provide a valid government-issued photo ID. Administrator will specify the exact submission deadline, including the applicable time zone, in its written instructions and provide a secure method for submitting identification, tax forms, and other sensitive information.Failure to return the completed Prize Claim Documents within the indicated time period may result in disqualification, Prize forfeiture and selection of an alternate potential winner.
Each Runner-Up Winner will be notified in the same manner as the potential winner and must complete, sign and return the Prize Claim Documents, including the Affidavit of Eligibility and Background Check Authorization, within twenty-four (24) hours of transmission. Runner-Up Winners are asked to complete these documents solely so that Sponsor can verify and confirm them in advance, in case the Potential Winner, or a Runner-Up winner ranked ahead of them, is disqualified or forfeits the Grand Prize. Failure to return these documents on time may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the Runner-Up Prize. COMPLETING, SIGNING OR RETURNING ANY PRIZE CLAIM DOCUMENTS, CONSENTING TO A BACKGROUND CHECK, OR RESPONDING TO ANY DIRECT MESSAGE FROM SPONSOR, TALENT OR ADMINISTRATOR DOES NOT MEAN THAT A RUNNER-UP WINNER IS, OR WILL BECOME, THE GRAND PRIZE WINNER. A Runner-Up Winner becomes the Grand Prize winner only if Sponsor notifies that Runner-Up Winner that they have been moved up and they complete all remaining verification requirements in these Official Rules. Any Runner-Up Winner who is not moved up will receive only the $250 DoorDash Gift Card prize as described below.
Sponsor reserves the right to conduct a background investigation of the Potential Winner and Runner-up winners, which may include identity verification, a review of social media accounts, and criminal, civil and public records. Any investigation will be conducted with required authorization and in accordance with applicable law. Sponsor may disqualify a Potential Winner and Runners-up winner(s) if, following an individualized review, Sponsor reasonably determines that the information establishes material ineligibility, a material misrepresentation, a material violation of these Official Rules, or a material safety risk to Talent, or others. An arrest, allegation, or other unverified information will not, standing alone, establish grounds for disqualification. Sponsor will provide any notices, information, or opportunity to respond required by applicable law. Except as required by law, Sponsor is not obligated to publicly disclose the reasons for its determination or the results of an investigation. If the Potential Winner's background check has not been completed, with results satisfactory to Sponsor, by October 15, 2026, for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify the Potential Winner and award the Grand Prize to the next Runner-Up winner in ranked order, subject to that Runner-Up winner's verification under these Official Rules.
Potential winner and Runner-up winners may not disclose any communication they may receive (in case they are selected as a Potential Winner or a Runner-up winner) by any Contest Entities to anyone else including but not limited to posting such communication online or on social media platforms, as it may result in automatic disqualification.
In the event of any dispute concerning the identity of any entrant, the Entry will be deemed submitted by the natural person who is the authorized account holder of the Instagram or TikTok account used to enter, and such individual must comply with these Official Rules.
11. PRIZE/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE ("ARV"): One (1) Grand Prize: a trip for the winner only to New York City, New York, to attend a dinner date with Talent at Restaurant on Saturday, October 17, 2026 ("Date"), consisting of: (a) round-trip coach-class air transportation for the winner from a major commercial airport near the winner's residence, as determined by Sponsor (if the winner resides within 150 miles of New York City, ground transportation will be provided instead and the ARV reduced accordingly); (b) up to two (2) nights' standard hotel accommodations (one room, room and tax only) on October 16 and 17, 2026; (c) ground transfers between the airport, hotel and Restaurant; (d) dinner for two (Talent and winner) at the Restaurant, booked through DoorDash Reservations, with food, non-alcoholic beverages, tax and gratuity paid by Sponsor; and (e) one (1) $250 DoorDash gift card (collectively, the "Grand Prize"). ARV: $3,500.00. Actual value may vary based on departure city, airfares and hotel rates at time of booking; any difference between the stated and actual value will not be awarded.
Four (4) Runner-Up Prizes: Each Runner-Up Winner who is not moved up to Grand Prize winner will receive one (1) $250 DoorDash gift card, awarded as a DoorDash gift code ("Runner-Up Prize"). ARV: $250.00 each. A Runner-Up Winner who is not moved up to Grand Prize winner will receive only the Runner-Up Prize, even if they responded to all direct messages and completed all Prize Claim Documents and background check authorizations.
Total ARV of all prizes: $4,500.00.
Gift Card is subject to DoorDash’s Gift Card Terms and Conditions.
In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any promotional materials, including the Contest Posts, and these Official Rules, these Official Rules shall prevail and govern.
12. ADDITIONAL PRIZE RESTRICTIONS: The Prize is for the winner only; no guest or companion travel is included. The Prize is not redeemable for cash, not transferable and no substitutions are allowed, except that Sponsor may substitute a prize element of comparable or greater value at its sole discretion. The winner must travel on the dates designated by Sponsor and must coordinate travel with Sponsor's designated travel agency; if the winner cannot travel on those dates, the Prize will be forfeited in its entirety and an alternate potential winner may be selected. Travel dates, carriers, routes, hotel and Restaurant are subject to availability and change at Sponsor's sole discretion. Restaurant name or address will not be disclosed to the winner until the morning of October 17, 2026. The winner must have valid government-issued photo identification required for air travel. Any expenses not expressly stated as included, including but not limited to meals other than the Date dinner, alcoholic beverages, incidentals, travel insurance, baggage fees, and hotel security deposits, are the sole responsibility of the winner. The winner may be required to present a major credit card at hotel check-in. Released Parties are not responsible for flight cancellations, delays, schedule changes or any other travel disruption. Trip elements cannot be combined with any other offer, and no frequent flyer miles will be awarded.
13. DATE TERMS AND CONDUCT: The Date consists of a dinner of approximately two (2) hours in a public restaurant setting. Representatives of Sponsor, Talent and their agencies will be present nearby throughout the Date. Nothing in these Official Rules creates, and the winner acknowledges that there is, no expectation or obligation of any personal, romantic or continued relationship, contact or activity with Talent beyond the Date. The winner may end their participation in the Date at any time. The winner and Talent must be sober upon arrival, must comply with all instructions of Sponsor's representatives, all Restaurant policies and all applicable laws, and must behave in a safe and respectful manner. Sponsor reserves the right to end the Date and/or remove the winner, without compensation, if the winner engages in any conduct that Sponsor deems disruptive, unsafe, harassing or inappropriate. If Talent is unable to attend the Date for any reason, Sponsor may reschedule the Date or award a substitute experience of comparable value, at its sole discretion.
14. CONTENT PARTICIPATION AND CONFIDENTIALITY: As a condition of receiving the Prize, the winner agrees: (a) to be photographed, filmed and recorded before, during and after the Date, including through windows and upon exiting the Restaurant, by Sponsor, Talent and their designated photographers; (b) that such photographs and footage may be distributed by Sponsor, Talent and third-party media and social accounts engaged by Sponsor, including in a paparazzi-style format (further clarified below), before Sponsor publicly identifies the winner; (c) to appear in, and cooperate reasonably with the production of, content about the Date, which may include a "storytime" video by Talent; and (d) to keep confidential the fact that they are the winner, and all details of the Date, until Sponsor publicly announces or confirms the winner, and to refrain from disclosing to anyone or posting about the Contest or the Date in anyway online or social media until authorized by Sponsor. Any content the winner chooses to post about the Date after authorization must include clear disclosure that the Date was provided by DoorDash (e.g., #ad or #DoorDashPartner). The winner will not receive any compensation for content participation beyond the Prize. “Paparazzi-style” means planned promotional photography or filming intended to resemble candid coverage; it does not authorize harassment, pursuit, undisclosed filming in private spaces, or a misleading representation that Sponsor-arranged coverage is independent reporting. Before accepting the Grand Prize, the winner will be informed that their recognizable image may be published before a formal winner announcement. Sponsor will require appropriate advertising disclosures in promotional content published by Talent and Sponsor-engaged accounts. Usage rights will be addressed in the applicable publicity release and grant of rights. Participation does not require physical affection, romantic or sexual conduct, disclosure of sensitive personal information, a positive endorsement, or any statement that does not reflect the winner’s honest experience. Content must not be edited to materially misrepresent the winner’s statements or conduct. No separate appearance, reshoot or personal social media post is required unless the winner separately agrees in writing.
The winner may request a break, decline a particular question or activity, or end participation in the Date at any time. Exercising these personal boundaries will not, by itself, constitute misconduct or require repayment of the Prize. Sponsor will maintain necessary lodging and safe return transportation if the winner ends participation early. Ending participation does not revoke previously granted rights to footage already recorded within the agreed scope.
15. TAXES AND WARRANTIES: All applicable federal, state and/or local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner, who will receive an IRS Form 1099-MISC (and any analogous state tax form) reflecting the actual final value of the Prize. The winner must submit a validly executed IRS Form W-9. SPONSOR MAKES NO WARRANTIES, AND HEREBY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, CONCERNING THE PRIZE OR ANY PORTION THEREOF FURNISHED BY THIRD PARTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND/OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. Acceptance, participation in and use of the Prize is at the winner's sole risk.
16. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Released Parties (as defined below) are not responsible for failed, partial or garbled computer transmissions, social media platform outages, comment filtering or deletion by a social media platform, or technical failures of any kind affecting the Contest, including electronic malfunction or damage of any network, hardware or software. If for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any event beyond Sponsor's control, including fire, flood, epidemic, earthquake, labor dispute, act of God, war, terrorist threat or activity, civil disturbance, health emergency, or any government law, order or regulation, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. In such event, Talent may select the winner from among eligible Entries received prior to the action taken. Notice of termination, modification or suspension will be posted on Talent’s Instagram account (@calebbmcdaniell) and TikTok (@.caleb.mcdaniel). No responsibility is assumed by any Released Party for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay, theft, destruction or unauthorized access to or alteration of Entries, or any injury or damage to any person's computer or mobile device related to participation in the Contest. Failure of Sponsor or Administrator to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of such provision. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DAMAGE ANY ONLINE SERVICE, WEBSITE, APP OR PLATFORM OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST VIOLATES CRIMINAL OR CIVIL LAWS. IF SUCH AN ATTEMPT IS MADE, SPONSOR MAY DISQUALIFY ANY PERSON MAKING SUCH ATTEMPT AND SEEK DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW.
17. RELEASE OF LIABILITY: By participating in this Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Contest Entities and each of their parent companies, subsidiaries and affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, partners and representatives, Meta, Inc., TikTok Inc., and each of their respective successors and assigns, as well as the Platforms (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all actions, claims, injury (including death), loss or damage arising in any manner, directly or indirectly, from participation in this Contest or any Contest-related activity or travel, including the Date, and/or acceptance, receipt, possession, use or misuse of the Prize.
18. PUBLICITY GRANT: Except where prohibited by law, by entering, entrants authorize Sponsor, Talent and their designees to use their name, social media handle, Entry, voice, likeness, photograph, video, biographical data, statements, Prize information and city and state of residence in advertising, programming, publicity and promotional material in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, worldwide, in perpetuity, without further compensation, notification or permission. Sponsor is not obligated to use any such materials but may do so and may edit them at its sole discretion.
19. GOVERNING LAW, JURISDICTION AND SEVERABILITY: Except as set out below, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and Sponsor in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. Entrants agree to the jurisdiction and venue of the state and local courts located in San Francisco County, California and the federal courts located in the Northern District of California. If any provision of these Official Rules is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck, and the remaining provisions shall be enforced.
20. DISPUTES; ARBITRATION: Except where prohibited, entrants agree that: (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest, or the awarding of the Prize/determination of the winner, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by arbitration pursuant to the rules of JAMS, then effective (notwithstanding the foregoing, entrant shall not be precluded from seeking relief in small claims court for claims within its jurisdiction); (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred (if any), including costs associated with entering this Contest, but in no event attorneys' fees; and (c) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket costs, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased and any and all rights to injunctive relief. The arbitrator shall be neutral and the entrant will have a reasonable opportunity to participate in the selection of the arbitrator. Such arbitration will take place at a location near the entrant's residence and the entrant has the right to an in-person hearing, if desired. Should an entrant initiate arbitration, the entrant shall be responsible for JAMS's filing fee (approximately $250), with all other costs borne solely by Sponsor. If entrant is a California resident and Sponsor prevails, such entrant will not be responsible for Sponsor's costs and fees; BUT, IN ALL OTHER CASES, ENTRANT WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SUCH COSTS/FEES IF REQUIRED BY THE ARBITRATOR'S RULING. The requirement to arbitrate is reciprocal and binding upon entrants and Sponsor. IN AGREEING TO ARBITRATION, YOU ARE GIVING UP YOUR RIGHT TO TRIAL IN A COURT OF LAW.
21. PRIVACY & PERSONAL INFORMATION: Any personally identifiable information collected during an entrant's participation in the Contest will be collected by Sponsor or its designee and used for the administration and fulfillment of the Contest and as otherwise described in these Official Rules, and in accordance with Sponsor's Consumer Privacy Policy. Information may be shared with Administrator, Talent's representatives and Sponsor's travel and production agencies solely for those purposes.
22. WINNER'S NAME: For the winner's name, mail a separate, self-addressed, stamped envelope to: DoorDash Reservations Date Night with Caleb Contest, c/o Probability, P.O. Box 1559, Social Circle, GA 30025-1559, for receipt by December 31, 2026.
