Popular alcoholic drink categories by delivery sales

More than half of US consumers report recently ordering alcohol delivery on third-party apps — and nearly 40% choose to order delivery from the comfort of home. Lagers were the most ordered drinks for delivery in summer 2024, and became a staple for casual occasions and outdoor events.

Along with a rise in ready-to-drink cocktails, vodka remains popular as a delivery item, as it’s versatile and gluten-free. Whiskey was also a hit among delivery shoppers this summer, both on its own and in ready-to-drink or canned cocktails.
