Flexible Work, Real Impact
In 2024, more than 65,000 people dashed in Washington, D.C., including 30,000+ new Dashers. From parents to students to retirees, Dashers earn on their own terms—contributing $110M+ to the local economy and completing 8.8M+ orders across the District.
Local Shops, Lasting Impact
In 2024, approximately 1,900 local merchants partnered with DoorDash in Washington, D.C.—from family-run restaurants to neighborhood cafés. Together, they generated $220M+ in sales, reaching new customers, creating jobs, and keeping DC’s food scene vibrant.
Delivering Meals with Care
Through Project DASH, we’ve powered over 300,000+ deliveries in Washington, D.C. as of January 2024—part of over 8.8M+ nationwide. In partnership with food banks and nonprofits, these efforts provide meals to seniors, veterans, and families facing food insecurity.

Ampliación del acceso a los alimentos en DC
A través del Proyecto DASH, estamos orgullosos de asociarnos con DC Central Kitchen para entregar comidas nutritivas y elaboradas desde cero en todo el Distrito. Desde 2022, hemos entregado más de 100,000 comidas a personas mayores y recientemente ampliamos el programa para atender a los veteranos que enfrentan inseguridad alimentaria y desafíos de movilidad, con comidas entregadas los siete días de la semana.
