With the liberation of the Taco Tuesday trademark in 49 states, DoorDash and Taco Bell are covering $5 million worth of tacos on Taco Tuesday, September 12 for taco lovers across the country* and it’s officially time to celebrate, exclusively on DoorDash. On Tuesday, September 12, DoorDash users can get $5 off $15+** orders at any of DoorDash’s 20,000 participating Mexican restaurants for one day only.
By celebrating Mexican restaurants nationwide, DoorDash and Taco Bell hope to empower businesses of all sizes and encourage taco enthusiasts to explore all that their communities have to offer, including the local heroes that make up the fabric of our neighborhoods.
Prior to the liberation of the Taco Tuesday trademark this summer, taco vendors, mom and pop shops and restaurants across 49 states could face legal consequences for using the phrase “Taco Tuesday” when celebrating with their local patrons. For the first time ever, the September 12 promotion will celebrate over 20,000 participating Mexican restaurants on DoorDash across the nation for the biggest Taco Tuesday ever.
The $5 million Taco Tuesday Taco Tab provides taco fans the opportunity to discover over 20,000 restaurants, so trying that new spot you’ve had your eye on or supporting your local favorite is easier than ever. Here’s how to join the party:
