    Unilever promoted an ice cream deal with key brands for Mother’s Day on DoorDash that led to a 37% increase in item sales and a 19% increased in average items per order. The campaign reached 49% new-to-brand customers.

  • A liquor brand used Sponsored Products to drive new, frequent shoppers

    68% of orders in the campaign were from new-to-brand customers, and these customers averaged seven repeat purchases on DoorDash after the initial order. During this pilot campaign with a liquor brand, campaign ROAS improved over the course of the activation.

After getting onboarded and setting up your account, log in to the DoorDash Ads Manager and set up a campaign. New advertisers can get started by contacting the DoorDash team here. Or, reach out to your account manager for support if you’re already an active partner.

Use our self-serve Ads Manager, or work with one of our API partners – Pacvue, Flywheel, and Skai to run CPG Sponsored Product and Sponsored Brand ads with DoorDash. DoorDash also offers managed service for ad and promotions campaign management across the DoorDash platform. CPG brands can also launch self-serve ads across offsite platforms including Meta, Google Shopping Ads, YouTube, and TikTok, alongside full-serve programmatic ads via The Trade Desk. Your ads will run across our network of more than 115,000 convenience, grocery, alcohol, and pet stores to inspire discovery and drive conversion. Sponsored Products run across collections on the store page, category browse pages, and search. Sponsored Brands run across the store page and category browse pages. Together, these placement types allow your brands to connect with consumers across their shopping experience.

Budgets are set at the campaign level. You can select a daily budget to be applied across the selected campaign dates, or you can set a lifetime campaign budget. Bids are configured at the ad group level. DoorDash uses a second price auction, so you’ll never pay more than your bid price.

Campaign reports are available within the Ads Manager platform, with key metrics updated hourly. Click the “reports” icon in the upper left-hand corner.

Currently, these campaign types are not available for self-service access in the Ads Manager platform. Advertisers should reach out to your account manager for more information.
