DoorDash’s Restaurant Disaster Relief Fund is now available to support restaurants that have been adversely impacted by Cyclone Alfred.
In partnership the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) DoorDash is providing $15,000* grants to help affected restaurants recover in this time of critical need.
To apply for relief, restaurants must have between one and three brick and mortar locations, fewer than 50 employees per location, have been open for at least 6 months, be independently owned, and have been impacted by an eligible state or federally-declared natural disaster.
The application window for the grants will be accepted on a rolling basis through to 30 May 2025, with applications to be submitted within 12 months of the declared disaster.
“Our hearts go out to all of those affected by recent weather events in parts of South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales” said Simon Rossi, Vice President, DoorDash.
“This initiative is about supporting small businesses during their most vulnerable times, whether it's helping cover payroll or repair damages or replace equipment, every bit helps. Helping local restaurants recover faster helps local communities recover faster, which is why DoorDash is proud to extend support to those in need via our Restaurant Disaster Relief Fund.”
