Matty Matheson’s Top Three Tips

Tip 1: Clean as you go, don’t be a big ol’ dirty dog

“Cleaning as you go is the first thing I tell any of my chefs. It’s one of the best ways to stay organized, calm and eliminate distractions so you can focus on what you’re making.” – Matty Matheson

And if you forgot an ingredient and only realize half way through, don’t fret! Order the missing ingredients on DoorDash and get what you need in no time with the click of a button.

When it’s delivered, remember to turn off any burners before grabbing it from your doorstep. Because cleaning as you go also means being proactive of any future messes you could create by stepping out (we see you, boiling pot of water!).

Tip 2: Don’t keep spices longer than 6 months

“Keep your pantry tight and fully stocked to ensure you make the most flavourful recipes at home.” – Matty Matheson

“And if you run out – make your life easier by ordering the spices through DoorDash.”

DoorDash offers an incredible selection of fresh produce, spices, pantry staples, meats and more – perfect for your weekly grocery haul or any last-minute ingredients you need for a recipe.

Tip 3: Recipes are just guidelines

“Recipes are just guidelines, don’t be scared to experiment. It’s your kitchen and you are the one cooking – make it count!” – Matty Matheson
