Nonprofit organizations play a central role in communities across Canada, connecting individuals and families with essential goods and services. Aligned with DoorDash’s mission to grow and empower local economies, DoorDash regularly provides Community Credits to nonprofit partners in Canada via DoorDash gift cards. This delivers timely impact, which can be used as immediate, practical support to purchase meals, groceries, and essential household items.

“Community Credits are one of the ways we can show up as a real partner in the communities we serve,” said Brian Kaufmann, Head of Policy at DoorDash Canada. “They let us use our platform to help people access what they need, when they need it — whether that’s a meal, groceries, or everyday essentials. By working with local nonprofit organizations, we’re able to get support directly to folks who need it most.”

More than 20 organizations in Canada received Community Credits last year alone. Community Credits in 2026 so far are supporting the following organizations.

  • 1834 Foundation – Across Canada
