Throughout the past year, as consumer expectations for convenience have grown, we have continued to meaningfully expand our offerings to meet our customer’s needs and offer them more diverse selections that can be delivered right to their doorstep, made all the more ‘flavorful’ with our membership program, DashPass.
Today we’re excited to announce that we’re expanding our partnership with Chase to extend a one-year complimentary DashPass membership to most Chase co-brand cardmembers. DashPass is our membership program offering members unlimited $0 delivery fees and reduced service fees on orders over $12 from thousands of restaurants, grocery, and convenience stores. Beyond perks to help save on delivery fees (members save an average of $5 per order compared to non-members), DashPass members also enjoy access to always-on benefits like 5% in DoorDash credit back on all eligible Pickup orders and exclusive DashPass offers every week.
Eligible Chase co-brand cards include: Southwest® Rapid Rewards® Credit Cards; United Credit Cards; IHG® Rewards Cards; Aer Lingus, British Airways, and Iberia Plus Visa Signature® Cards; Marriott Bonvoy Bold™ and Boundless™ Cards; World of Hyatt Card; Disney® Visa® Cards; and Starbucks® Rewards cards, with an auto-renew feature at the then current rate.
Here are the new benefits for eligible Chase co-brand cardmembers starting May 10th:
Chase co-brand cardmembers who are new to DashPass will get a complimentary DashPass membership for 1 full year (over $100 value), including Chase exclusive delivery offers across restaurants, convenience, and grocery stores.*
All existing DashPass members who add an eligible Chase co-brand card will also receive an additional year of complimentary DashPass*
To activate the complimentary DashPass membership, cardmembers can visit the DashPass x Chase sign up page or simply add an eligible Chase credit card as the default payment in the DoorDash app for Android or iOS to get started. Cardmembers will need to activate by December 31, 2021 to enjoy the new benefit.
As we previously announced, this new DashPass offer is in addition to what is currently available for other Chase branded cards, including: Chase Sapphire Reserve® and Preferred® cardmembers have access to complimentary DashPass memberships for a minimum of one year, and Chase Freedom®, Freedom Unlimited®, Freedom Student® and Slate® cardmembers can activate to enjoy complimentary DashPass memberships for the first three months, followed by a 50% discount price at the current rate for the next nine months.**

Eligible Chase co-brand cardmembers will receive one free year (12 months) of DashPass, and then automatically transition to a recurring monthly charge (currently $9.99) until cancelling. Chase Freedom account will receive one complimentary 3 month DashPass subscription, and then automatically transition to a recurring monthly charge for 9 months at 50% off the then current monthly DashPass rate. After the DashPass discounted period ends, you will then automatically transition to a recurring monthly charge at the then current monthly DashPass rate. You can cancel anytime on the DoorDash or Caviar mobile application. Subscription will be registered in the name of the primary cardmember or an authorized user, whoever activates the benefit first. Subscription period for the user on a Chase Freedom account will begin and end based on when the first user activates the subscription on the DoorDash or Caviar mobile application. To receive the subscription benefits, the primary cardmember or authorized user(s) must first add their Chase Freedom card as a payment method in the DoorDash or Caviar mobile applications, and then click the activation button.
