We’ve all had to make a purchase that we hoped no one saw us make. Whether it’s walking to the pharmacy counter with a single box of hemorrhoid cream or realizing you need a plunger at the most inconvenient time possible, the "embarrassed aisle" is a universal experience.
Today, we’re introducing CringeMart, a new in-app storefront and campaign designed for life’s most awkward, intimate, and “TMI” essentials – no eye contact required, created in partnership with Loop.
Skip the IRL Cringe
From last-minute emergencies to late-night “u up?” moments, DoorDash has always shown up for the less glamorous side of life. CringeMart simply makes it more convenient as a judgment-free zone where you can get what you need, when you need it, all in one place without the side of social anxiety.
Starting August 3, customers can skip the IRL cringe by searching “CringeMart” directly in the DoorDash app. They can shop from a series of custom, cheeky curations tailored to life’s most awkward needs, from “Go Piss Girl” (UTI tests and treatments) to “Daily Dump” (laxatives and digestive relief), and everything in between.
To bring CringeMart to life, we’ve also partnered with the internet’s undisputed TMI Queen, Tana Mongeau. Known for turning her most unfiltered moments into cultural conversation, Tana stars in a new “CringeMaxxing” content series. Across three episodes, she puts unsuspecting shoppers through hilariously uncomfortable checkout scenarios, proving exactly why some purchases are better left to DoorDash.
"The most 'cringe' purchases are usually the most relatable. There's nothing actually 'cringe' about any of these items, but buying them can still feel that way," said Zaria Parvez, Head of Brand Social at DoorDash. "If it's in CringeMart, it's probably something you need but don't want to be seen in public with, which is exactly why we built it. CringeMart is DoorDash's way of saying we get it, and we've got you, no questions asked."
Cringe Carts: By the Numbers
We looked at the data, and it turns out, "cringe" is a high-volume business. In 2025 alone, over four million customers turned to DoorDash for their most awkward essentials*.
By the second: These moments don’t wait and neither do customers. In fact, a condom is sold every 37 seconds on DoorDash, and two laxatives are sold every minute.
Committed to Cringe: For some, cringe is a way of life. One customer placed over 659 cringe-worthy orders in a single year!
Cringe combos: DoorDash is a one-stop-shop, and customers don’t just come for one item. The most popular cringe combos include Imodium and Flaming Hot Cheetos, extra sensitive condoms and candles, and laxatives and mac and cheese.
Putting Cringe on Display
To celebrate the launch, DoorDash is also bringing the data behind these moments into the spotlight. In New York City and Los Angeles, custom billboards will feature a live condom counter, updating in real time to reflect just how often customers are turning to DoorDash for their most private and intimate needs.
Happy Cringing!
