Here are the actions we’ve taken to prepare for and respond to this disaster.
Responding Quickly to Keep Our Community Safe
As wildfires broke out and spread rapidly across Spokane County, we quickly suspended operations throughout the area to prioritize the safety of Dashers and customers. We remain suspended in Spokane, but are closely monitoring the recovery efforts and plan to resume operations as soon as it is safe and practical to do so. Delivering Relief and Resources
We’re contributing $50,000 in Community Credits to help local organizations provide immediate relief to the families and communities they serve. With these gift cards, local organizations can help support first responders and provide relief for families recovering from the disaster in the coming months with access to food and essential supplies, including groceries and diapers, from local restaurants, grocers, and retailers as they reopen.
Helping Local Businesses Rebuild
Local businesses are more than just places to enjoy a meal or shop; they are a place for gathering and are often the lifeblood of their communities. That’s why we’re providing $50,000 in relief grants through our Local Business Disaster Relief Fund to support local businesses specifically impacted by the damages from the wildfire.
These funds can help cover vital expenses such as rent, repairs, lost inventory, and payroll, allowing business owners to recover quickly. Eligible business owners affected by the wildfires can apply now through October 1, 2026.
