During the holiday season, the year-round work of food banks, food pantries, and other nonprofits is highlighted in communities across the United States. DoorDash is supporting our partners’ work to fight food insecurity by delivering groceries through Project DASH and providing Community Credits to help neighbors access what they need during this important time of year.
This month, DoorDash employees, including members of our executive team, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Liz Jarvis-Shean, General Counsel Tia Sherringham, and Chief People Officer Mariana Garavaglia, packed food bags at the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank and learned about how it’s working to address the hunger we see today and its root causes with Executive Director Tanis Crosby and Board Chair Jonathan Walker.
Riding along with Dashers, Liz and Tia helped deliver some of these groceries to neighbors in San Francisco who otherwise wouldn’t be able to make it to a food bank distribution.

Since 2018, Project DASH has delivered more than 100 million meals through over 6 million deliveries to communities across the U.S. and Canada.
This holiday season, Project DASH helped our partners bridge the gap for seniors, working parents, and people experiencing transportation challenges so they can enjoy a warm meal.
Delivering holiday meals to local families, we teamed up with Mount Hope Baptist Church in Yakima, WA, Masbia in New York City, and Simon’s Soup Kitchen in Seaside Heights, NJ.
We also partnered with Age Well in Northwestern Vermont and the All Peoples Community Center in the Los Angeles, CA area to deliver meals and groceries to seniors.

In November, DoorDash and Angel City Football Club celebrated two million meals provided in partnership with All Peoples Community Center and the Los Angeles LGBT Center to help combat food insecurity in the Los Angeles area.
