Over 35,000 products including family and household essentials can now be delivered directly to Aussie doorsteps in as fast as 60 minutes, with BIG W today announcing its launch on DoorDash.
Toys, electronics, clothing, pet necessities, and more can now be ordered directly through DoorDash during BIG W store trading hours, with the majority open 8am–7pm, Delivering great value, nearly two-thirds (65%) of BIG W products on the DoorDash app are priced under $20.
The BIG W service launches today across 156 stores, offering on-demand delivery to over 80% of Australians, with plans to expand to more stores by the end of the month. This rollout follows a 10-store pilot launched on September 30.
The move sees BIG W become the first discount department store in Australia to offer ultra-convenience for customers via on-demand delivery on DoorDash.
Launching ahead of the busiest trading period of the year, families can now get rapid access to Black Friday deals, Christmas gifts, Halloween costumes and summer gear, alongside BIG W’s viral beauty, fashion, and homewares range drops.
This rollout comes after a surge in demand since BIG W’s launch of Same-Day Delivery powered by DoorDash in May, with small appliances, nursery essentials, toys, and bed linen amongst the most popular items.

The new partnership joins BIG W’s existing convenience offers, including free Pick Up from all Stores, free Metro Delivery on all orders over $59, and free Direct to Boot available at select stores.
