Australians can now unlock more value on everything from takeaway dinners to grocery deliveries, thanks to a new offering from DoorDash and Commonwealth Bank. The arrangement will give millions of CommBank customers complimentary DoorDash DashPass memberships, which include $0 delivery fees and DashPass-only offers*.
For the first time, eligible CommBank customers will also be able to turn everyday DoorDash orders into rewards, while also accessing savings through monthly DoorDash credits*.
Eligible CommBank credit card holders
Approximately 800 thousand CommBank credit cardholders can now access a complimentary DashPass subscription. DashPass $0 delivery fee is available at thousands of restaurants and grocers on eligible orders from DashPass merchants, wherever DoorDash is available in Australia. CommBank Ultimate credit cardholders will also receive a $10 DoorDash credit every month, which can be used for eligible DoorDash orders of $50 or more (excluding taxes and fees), helping customers save even more on meals, groceries and everyday essentials.
Eligible CommBank Yello customers
DoorDash will also join CommBank's reimagined CommBank Yello rewards program. Approximately nine million eligible CommBank Yello customers will be able to redeem 3- or 6-month complimentary DashPass trial subscriptions, depending on their Yello tier. After redeeming a complimentary trial subscription, CommBank Yello customers also will be able to earn two CommBank Yello points for every $1 spent on eligible DoorDash orders when a customer spends $25 or more.
Together, the initiative will connect DoorDash with one of Australia's largest customer rewards programs, giving millions of Australians new ways to earn rewards and unlock savings on the purchases they make every day.
