Today, DoorDash announced new enhancements to its Preferred Integrations Program, building on its 2025 launch, to help restaurants get more reliable, seamless performance from their point-of-sale (POS) and middleware integrations on DoorDash.
As restaurants increasingly rely on POS integrations to manage orders, inconsistencies between systems can lead to cancellations, inaccurate menus, and time-consuming reconciliation. DoorDash’s latest updates are designed to address these challenges by setting a higher standard for integration quality and improving visibility into how integrations perform in day-to-day operations.
Based on current performance and feature capabilities, the 2026* cohort DoorDash Preferred Integration Partners include Checkmate, Chowly, Deliverect, Otter, PAR, Qu, Square, Stream, Toast, and UrbanPiper, representing some of the most reliable integration providers on the DoorDash platform today.
“Integration quality plays a critical role in a restaurant’s growth and profitability,” said Ruth Isenstadt, Head of U.S. Restaurants at DoorDash. “When integrations break, restaurants feel it immediately – through missed orders, cancellations, and extra manual work. With these updates, we’re setting a higher bar for reliability, increasing transparency into performance, and giving restaurants clearer insight into how their technology impacts their business so they can operate with greater confidence.”
New standards and capabilities
DoorDash is introducing a new comparison tool to make it easier for merchants to compare and evaluate POS and middleware integrations based on the features and capabilities that matter most to their business. Additional updates are also rolling out to improve reliability and reducing operational friction for restaurants, including:
More consistent order flow: Expanded standards to track real-time item availability, integrated reporting, and detailed error reporting, to help keep menus up to date, reduce order failures, and make it easier to identify and resolve issues quickly;
Simpler reconciliation: Restaurants can now see who funded each promotion, reducing confusion and manual work when reconciling orders;
Better integration visibility: New performance insights to evaluate how integrations perform based on reliability, not just what features they offer;
Stronger Preferred standards: Updated standards reinforce Preferred as a meaningful signal of integration quality and operational reliability.
“We’re proud to be named a DoorDash Preferred Integration Partner for the second year in a row,” said Justin Falciola, President, Americas at Deliverect. “We share a common goal of making digital ordering simpler, more profitable, and more scalable for restaurants. Our technology goes far beyond a basic integration, because consistent, accurate order flow is critical for restaurants and their customers. This recognition highlights the trust brands place in Deliverect to grow their DoorDash sales and streamline operations.”

Improving reliability for restaurant integrations
The enhanced Preferred Integration Program designation reflects DoorDash’s higher, more consistent reliability standard. Partners must meet clear, measurable requirements to maintain their status, helping ensure integrations support the full restaurant operating experience, not just order transmission.
Together, these updates are designed to help restaurants drive more sales with fewer cancellations, simplify reconciliation, and deliver a more seamless and reliable day-to-day operating experience on DoorDash.
“Integrating DoorDash and Square was so simple, and something I wish I'd implemented sooner. Our menu items and pricing now sync automatically, with Square acting as the source of truth. DoorDash orders flow directly to our kitchen printers, which keeps operations running smoothly,” said Lawrence Kam, Owner at L&L Hawaiian Barbecue. “On the reporting side, having DoorDash sales consolidated into our daily gross sales report has been a significant efficiency gain, since we no longer need to pull separate reports across platforms. Most importantly, the integration saves me time, so I can focus on running the business.”
