Last November, we announced a partnership alongside Maryland Governor Wes Moore and the Restaurant Association of Maryland (RAM) to support Baltimore-area restaurants recovering from the loss of the Francis Scott Key Bridge.
Today we’re thrilled to announce the recipients of our Restaurant Disaster Relief Fund grants as part of this partnership, all based in the greater Baltimore area. The list includes:

“In the aftermath of the Key Bridge Collapse, our business — like many others — suffered a significant decrease in business that made it much harder to stay afloat,” said Saadia Fadili, founder of Twist Fells Point. “Thanks to this grant we received from DoorDash’s Restaurant Disaster Relief Fund, we’ve been able to keep our doors open and support our staff during what has been a tough time for everyone in the city. We’re incredibly grateful for the support they’ve provided us and the broader commitment they’ve shown to helping Baltimore get back on its feet.”

The Restaurant Disaster Relief Fund helps small business owners recover in the wake of disaster and strengthens the community by creating a meaningful and supportive network. Each recipient receives a $10,000 grant that they can use to help cover essential operation expenses such as rent, mortgage payments, payroll, and other critical bills.
Navigating challenges, learning together, and supporting each other is necessary for our local economies to thrive and small businesses to stay afloat. We look forward to continuing to work with Gov. Moore and the Restaurant Association of Maryland to support their critical work helping those in need across the greater Baltimore area.
